For the past few days My Windows XP Media center machine has been turning off printer and file sharing.?

I have a few shared printers and such in my workgroup. For the past three or four days windows printer and sharing on the main Machine has been turning itself off. Any ideas what is causing this to happen?

Sounds like you have spyware or a minor virus. Scan the computers.

It will have a serial check the barcode at the back sounds like to me something is broken on the side and out you need to start a fresh then see how you get on. buy a new cd dvd drive as well for it.
