tv.its everywhere and effective. lot of channel,lots of entertainers. its universal.

If by modernism you mean 20s and 30s (artistic modernism) then it was movies and radio, the tv came later.

Do you mean "modern era"? If so, it would be unquestionably television. No question about it!!!!
