What to do if you drop External Hard Drive on the floor? The brand is Ximeta Net Disk.?

It makes a weird noise and my computer doesn't recognize it anymore. Can it be fixed? Or I can kiss all of my files good bye now?!

Sounds like it's a goner.

To be sure, open the enclosure and check all connections and retry.

If still toast, replace the drive. Your data is gone.

There are data retrieval companies out there if your drive is dead, but it'll cost TONS if you can find one in your area.
