Do you Know there are people in jail for 2 years for stealing food?, during while Pete Doherty had been 7 times arrested for Burglary and Possession of 3 drugs class A at the same time and now this with Paris Hilton.

The issue here is that they don't walk out cause they are famous, they walk out cause they are rich, the issue is that we know this cause we follow the cases but this, sadly, unfortunately and repugnantly happens every day.

The rich people sell, consume drugs, steal big money and even kill walking out free while the jail is full of poor people whose made "a mistake" and will pay for life in many ways.

In the Hospital, in the court, in the police, in the street and in your job more than never ever, materialism, classicism, racism and abuse are in rampage. And we pay heavy, heavy, heavy taxes to sustain such monstrosity of system.

And they call it: Democracy.

Oh, but she is credited with spending 5 days. She turned herself in Sunday night, spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday there and got out on Thursday being credited with that day too.

So much for doing her time like anyone else. She said she wanted to prove who she really was. I think she has. Spoiled little rich heiress.Cry about how bad the conditions are in jail. Go back to cozy home. Yeah. The joys of being rich and famous.

How many people have chosen not to eat anything in jail and got sent home? I don't know of anyone. Whatever her medical condition is, the jail has doctors who could've treated her.

She's no Martha Stewart. Even tho Martha appealed her conviction, she went on and did her jail time and then wore her ankle bracelet the rest of the time at home. Martha had class.

I just read about that now. First I looked at IMDB to see that she is not eating or sleeping (according to her lawyer) while being in jail for 2 days and then I checked Sky News to see oh the poor dear (not) is out on day 3 with a "medical condition". Oh please! The brat is having a tantrum and the stupid Americans fall for it. So annoyed! If you drive on a suspended licence, at night with the lights off and found speeding for the forth time of DUI you should pay (in time) for your mistake. What if she had hit someone?!

Ooooh 3 days pooor Baby! OMG would it kill the goverment to put paris behind bars for a whole 90 days?! And I mean being on house arrest is like being at a high end hotel.
She's got a pool, her dogs, her clothes, her cell (possibly),her maids, her butlers, Oh and let's not 4get she's getting released to go to "work". And why is she out? Because of her "medical condition". Total bc! In other words she cried her way out.

the funny thing about that is that her sentence has been put back at 45 days again but on house arrest. And the lawyer says she has 40 more to go during the press conference . But the thing is she has only been in jail for 3 so where the hell did the 2 days go!???There is something fishy goin on...

This girl is a rich, spoiled brat that doesn't deserve any kind of home incarceration. I, too, am appalled at this movement by the courts. Medical problem my butt. I have a very serious medical problem and can't seem to get any help financially, and she gets to live in luxury even when she is nothing but a jail bird. If there were a way to get my hands on her, I would beat her like a red headed step child.

There is something seriously fucked up about justice in America. She puts other drivers' lives at risk by drunk driving and gets house arrest and she can do whatever she wants and she'll probably do whatever she does at home anyway. CNN cites TMZ saying that her "medical condition" was due to her refusal to eat prison food.. What a fuckin' joke. I hope next time she drunk drives, she crashes her car and gets her face burnt. Martha Stewart did time for something relatively benign and Lil' Kim also did a fair amount of time for not being a rat. And Paris does three days for a potential vehicular homicide?
