There is no law stating a turn signal must automatically cancel after a turn. You will pass inspection as long as it turns on when its supposed to and turns off somehow, even if by hand.

I doubt if it will pose a problem for you. They usually ask you to work the signals from inside the car while they are outside, checking for the actual lights to work.

you mean like you have to push the directional signaler back after you turn? no, it should still be fine for inspection.
