use quadratic formula for both

Unfortunately, you can't factor either of these. That's because they have irrational roots.

You need the quadratic formula to solve for the roots (assuming that they are set to 0)

I would use the quadratic formula

x = (8 +/- sqrt(64 - 8))/2
x = (8 +/- sqrt(56))/2
x = 4 +/- sqrt(14)

5m^2 + m + 2
m = (-1 +/- sqrt(1 - 40))/10
m = -1/10 +/- (sqrt(-39))/10

I'd say theyre prime and therefor not factorable, i tried for a few minutes it seems theyre just not factorable
