i need help on a vlookup., i understand how to look up a single piece(cell) of information and copy that the another location workbook, but how do you lookup 2 or more values and copy 2 or more results back..

i know you can use mutiiple strings but iu dont get it...

If my original formula is :-
=VLOOKUP(A14,A:C,2,TRUE)

obviously if i am trying to copy across mutiply results into an existing workbook, i would need to specify or make sure that blank columns cells are available..

what about if i want to copy multiple results backfrom the above lookup...is this possible?

It's not really clear what you want to do. Are you saying that you want to look up a value based on multiple criteria? If so, then the sumproduct function is the way to go. Let me know and I can help you.
