I posted a few days ago that my brake lights weren't working and neither was my left blinker.
Well the blinker fixed itself so it's just the brake lights now.
90% of you said the break light switch
...I found the brake light switch
....I see it...
....What am i supposed to do to it?
lol. Remember I'm 15. and a girl so I'm definately not "car smart"

It's not the fuse.
We already replaced it to see if that was it...

It may be the relay under the hood that's bad.

But here goes anyway.
Unplug the black connector that's plugged into the back of the switch.

Use a paper clip or short piece of wire to jump the two little slide connectors inside the plug thing you just unplugged.

Your brake lights SHOULD come on.
If they don't, it's a bad relay under the hood, or other issue.

Take It Out And Replace It, But It Would Be Better For Your BF Or Dad Or Someone To Do It For Ya.. It's A Quick Job!

I do not want to talk down to you, so here it goes. You may be too young and inexperienced on how to test the switch. You have to have an ohm meter.

The inexperienced person should replace the 50 cent fuse first. If that does not fix it, take it to someone who can test and fix the switch.

you just need to put a new one in. its quick and easy.
