With golfball-sized hail and possible tornados. So why am I excited about it? There's nothing exciting about hail damage. lol

Anyone else enjoy thunderstorms/crazy weather? Any good/bad experiences?

I live in Fl...I love the rain. I even love the hurricanes. I just don't like having to clean up after them! When the severe storms came through a couple of years ago (Charlie, Frances, and Jean) we had so much damage, but it was awesome just to see Mother Nature at work! Tornadoes, Hail, and 90 mile per hour wind bring on the bad weather... :)

I would be a little scared of the possible tornados but I love severe thunderstorms....Listening to the rain pouring down, watching the lightning at night and especially when the bangs are real loud just waiting for the next one is exciting.....How big will this boom be? Damn and it's sunny here today. I forgot we do have a wind advisory for tonight 40mph... but a thunderstorm is better. :P They predicted 75 mph winds and we had a severe thunderstorm today. Slept through the winds...lol and the storm was so quick it wasn't too exciting plus it ruined our garage saling....sunny forecast for the rest of the weekend.......

I live in Florida, so hurricane season is getting started here. We had some nice thunderstorms and rain yesterday and the weather has actually been more rainy and windy the past few months than it has in previous years. I love a good thunderstorm, even stood outside in a couple of hurricane moments in 2004(we were impacted by Frances and Jeanne), loved every minute of it!

I live in tornado alley so I have seen my share of severe weather and its no fun. Its fun when its on TV, but in real life no. There is no good experience when it comes to severe weather, but luckly I or anyone I care about has not been affected. Funny thing I saw though was a best buy cart lifted in the air, very high in the air and crashed down to the earth in millions of pieces

Sometimes, there's nothing better than staying inside, relaxing, when a heavy rain or thunderstorm is outside. I wouldn't give it up for the world. That's probably why I would never live in Los Angeles; the perfect weather every day would just get to me. Sometimes, you need variety.

I would do anything for some severe weather right now. We are starting a drought in Kentucky atleast our part of the state.

I love thunderstorms, especially when I am at home, and can cuddle with my hubby or play cards by candle light. :)

I feel for you, we had 60 mile an hour winds here yesterday, all day long. I live in the panhandle of Texas and those storms can get very scary. I say a tornado once from a distance, and it was very scary looking. Stay safe.

Sever weather may be exciting for some but personally I'd fear it. I hope no one is killed and that there isn't a lot of damage due to the weather.

I live in FL and it's exciting when a hurricane comes through. At my last job I had so much unused sick time, so I would get paid for the days our office was closed. My hubby and I would just party for a few days, it was fun. Of course, now I don't have any sick time at my new job so I don't think I want any hurricanes this year.
