I was wondering what would happen if we as a society ran on daylight savings time year round. By this, I mean what might happen if we ran our clocks one hour ahead, and kept them there 365 days a year?

Good question! Seeing as how we have become so dependent on technology, it would probably confuse more people to use common sense and simplicity. We seem to have gotten along without it just fine until 89 years ago (in the U.S.). In all fairness though it does save us energy which is becoming a very important social issue (finally) these days.

Then there would no point because summer days will be very long, and winter days will be very short.
