It won't be long 'till she's writing an autobiography stating how horrifying prison was! Then again, I doubt she can write! If this stance applied to all inmates (allowed home when not feeling well), I'm sure there would be an epidemic of flu in the prisons!

I would love to know how ill she really was, was it life threatening. If a prisoner gets ill they are sent to hospital under police armed arrest all day and all night untill they are well enough to go back to prison, there stays in hospital will account for some of there sentence but they wont get sent home!
Its a farce and I think may make young people see drink driving as not such a severe crime, i wonder what would have happened if she had killed someone, would she have got let off for having a cold!
Its a discrace, i hope she is thoroughly ashamed of herself and lays low but i bet she wont i bet she will make a TV documentary about how hard prison was. Its a slap in the face to people who serve sentences in prison!
Also shells is right it does happen in the UK occasionaly if someone is deemed as not being a major threat they will be allowed out early, but isnt it a massive coincidence that its her!

She has been reassigned to home arrest due to medical reasons. That's silly to think a person can say "I don't feel very well can I go home?" It's not school, it's jail, there was a medic of some sort who said she should not be there. The county is liable for her health. Trust me the Hiltons have enough money to own LAPD if they sue them.

It's disgusting, just because she's a celebrity and has got money she can get away with breaking the law and only serve 3 days instead of the original 45. On the grounds of this I hope the authorites are innundated with requests to go home because they aren't well!! The world has gone mad.

Although I have heard very little, and perhaps naively I would like to believe there is more to this then meets the eye and maybe there IS something genuine here, I think more then likely it is simply money buying justice - and as such a complete disgrace.

I think it is not fair. Yet, at least she should have been in jail for 10 days but before you know it she out. This is not jail break but it is a jail release. Paris is out of jail. Blind justice. It is Not for LA County Jail.

if think that its horrible, if they want normal people like us to obey the laws they should get tough on the really bad people, eg paris hilton (and other stars). and then you here of good people who go to jail because the cops had nobody else to blame and they end up dying in prison! the injustices in this world make me sick!

Once again it is proved that justice for the wealthy is much different from justice for the poor. Could anyone else in that same prison for similar crimes get out that way? They would laugh in their faces at the mere suggestion.

She is out on licence and is tagged and not allowed to leave her house.
That happens in the UK quite alot where the prisons become over crowded and the cons deemed to be of the least threat are released on licence and tagged.

Doesn't the jail have an Infirmary? Or a doctor?
This is just another example of how the rich can buy their way out of trouble.
Especially in California.
