CCleaner is hype. Does more harm then good. But hey why listen to me and review techs? Because I dont BS!

Its free and does its job very well. It cleans up temporary internet files, which keeps them from occupying hard drive space. These temporary files can grow into several hundreds of megabytes especially if you do lots of browsing.
It also cleans up other stuff like browsing history, and history of files you opened.

I use it regularly. I have never had a problem with it. Actually, it sped up my computer significantly. I would definitely recommend it.
