is it possible to share file between two pc using IP address via the internet,can we access each other file share folder?if yes,how is that so?

as long as u have the ip of the computer yo uwant to access, and a firewall is not blocking you, you can go to my computer, tools , select 'map network drive'
and for the folder type:

\\ip\c:\xxx

where ip is the ip of the computer, and xxx is the path in the c drive to the folder shared

oh you will also need to have simple file sharing turned off to do this (if windows xp) - go to view- folder options and its on the bottom, uncheck it. You also need the username and password of an administrator for the ocmputer yo uare trying to connect to

you can also transfer files using microsoft netmeeting...it comes with every windows os.
