What song/music do you listen to?
Alot of people I know have a favorite song they get ready to. Gets them ready for a good night out..
Mine is normally something by faithless - dance music

Not I go out much anymore - being 36 and married with 2 little children, but whenever I used to go out, and even now when getting ready I have to have The Emotions, Best of My Love full blast!

We usually have more of a giggle getting ready, than when we actually get out. I think its cause we're already half cut and too excited about having a break from the kids.
