I'm with dah veed. Trent Green is the most underrated player in the NFL. Everyone looks at him as just an average QB, but look at the stats. The only QB's that have put up better numbers than him since 2001 are Favre and Peyton Manning. Thats some serious company. I realize he hasn't won a playoff game, but that can't all be laid on him - he's had to play with some terrible defensive teams in KC.

Actually Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, also known as KGB, is one of the more overrated players in the NFL. His sacks have gone down the past 3 years and he registered just 6 last year. As for the most underrated player, I would give the edge to Alge Crumpler, tight end, Atlanta Falcons. Alge Crumpler is a terrific route runner. He is adept at finding the open spaces in defenses and presenting his quarterback, Michael Vick, with a clear target. The former Tar Heels star has recorded back-to-back Pro Bowl worthy seasons.

I have to still say its Tom Brady, he has 3 rings, he wins wins wins, hes clutch and poised in the pocket in pressure situations, and he has to work with recivers he doesnt even know. He deserves at least 2 NFL MVP awards already, he is a two time Super Bowl Champ, I mean come on the guy has worked so hard and he is still being doubted by analysts and etc..... At least now he can kick the Colts AS S with Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, and Wes Welker when he plays them.
Brady is evetering his Prime which will last for a long time.

From my Vikings, it's Pat Williams. Since '05, he has terrorized opponents. Doesn't get a lot of love, but that's okay with him. He plays with a chip on his shoulder because he wasn't drafted.
Also, Antoine Winfield. Probably the best tackling cornerback in the NFL. Doesn't miss. Very aggressive.

The correct answer is actually one of the highest rated players in the NFL, who isn't yet fully appreciated as the most complete running back of all-time, LaDainian Tomlinson. Don't be a dunce and reply that everybody knows he's great. The point is, he's much greater than great, and the difference between his actual and perceived greatness is the widest in the NFL, bar none (who was actually a pretty good fullback for the 49ers).

Its EASILY Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. Almost no one knows his name. He is the defensive end for the packers, and is amazing. He has 4 seasons with 10 or more sacks, out of the 6 seasons he has started. Hes starting to slow down a LITTLE bit but hes still great and deserves more praise

Troy Brown, WR, New England Patriots...I've said it before...He's the Brett Favre of the Patriots...been there so long, he gets taken for granted...He is getting older, but he is still a very good receiver...and was Brady's #1 receiver in the first Super Bowl win...

Rudi Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals
Rudi, a halfback, is not known for his speed, but he comes from Auburn, a school known for great runningbacks (Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams, etc.), and he is the new Jerome Bettis of the NFL.
