I don't think you can ever have too many hands. Does it make for light work? *shrugs* Not necessarily....... but it makes for more pleasurable work. It's always more gratifying to do something WITH someone else. To get to share in the job means you get to share in the glory. And inevitably, if one gets stuck in the task, the other is there to pick it up. Oh sure..... there will always be disagreeing attitudes on how to approach something, but that's what makes it even more necessary to get accustomed to working with "many hands." We all need to learn the art of compromise.

I find I laugh more and I am much more productive when others are there with me. Light work? not so sure. Fun work? Definitely. :)

Often when there are many hands it leads to too many Indians and not enough Chiefs. You need the right ratio to keep everybody focused and not just standing around trying to figure out what to do. Both your statements are correct as well as mine. You have to know how to command and to delegate the work and when you do it makes the working environment efficient and successful.

You have to find the right ratio of hands to cooks. Often this depends on the problem to be solved like, for example, changing a lightbulb. (It takes exactly two bureaucrats to screw in a lightbulb: one to screw it up and the other to screw it up.) You should be very careful in these calculations not to end up with too many hands, as idle hands are the devil's playthings.

It depends on the situation and who owns the hands. Sometimes it's easier to get things done by yourself without interference or a bad attitude by someone else.

Not at all. Hey, if you have a job to do like even cleaning your home, a few people can knock it out in a couple of hours. Alone it would take me all day and it wouldn't be fun. People helping other people is fun!

Many hands make light work, but give me a headache. I enjoy my solitude.
