So, in three games, the Phillies gained ONE game on the Mets. So what? The season is long, and the Phillies' fans have been boasting that they are the class of the NL East for years now with NOTHING to show for their bragging!! They need to shut up until they REALLY have a division championship under their belts and then have something real to brag about.

The Mets have been dealing with a lor of injury and they never play as well at Shea as the do on the road.. don's ask me why... that's just a fact. The Mets are trying thier best and will still make the playoffs while the Phillies will have to think of another way to spend thier october.

Wow, you're still 6 games out of first place. Come to me in October when the Mets are in the playoffs and the only thing the Phillies are playing with are their own balls. And yes, the Phillies do still suck.

Yeah, in August, MAYBE, you get what's left of Pedro the Punk back. Right now, if it wasn't for 40-year-olds like Tom Glavine and 50-year-olds like Julio Franco and El Duque Hernandez, the Mets would be where their forebears, the Brooklyn Dodgers, always seemed to be: Waiting 'til next year.
You can always tell a Mets fan. But you can't tell him much. 10/26/2000, 26 > 2, and the Curse of Kevin Mitchell lives.

No one cares Mets are best in the NL and the Phillies blow, it's a 162 game season not a 3 game season.

Two Games wooohooooo. They are still 6 games back. And the Mets are not all healthy you have Shawn Green and Moises Alou are out. Plus your forgetting that after the all-star break we get Pedro back.
