Can you get glued down carpet stretched? Is it too difficult? Should I just replace it?

Glued carpet cannot be stretched. You could try to lift it with scrapers, but i'm afraid it will tear or stretch out of shape. Go ahead and try, but be prepared to purchase new if removal doesn't go as planned.

It was glued down to hold it in place. It cannot be stretched now. All you would accomplish is tearing the carpet. Time to remove and replace.

Just replace it. It's glued down, it won't stretch.
