I've been married for over 30 years and I think the best thing about marriage is that I've never had to face any of the ups and downs of life alone. I always have someone to celebrate with, I always have a shoulder to cry on, I always have someone who will eat most of a large pizza and laugh with me. The worst thing about marriage is... I'm thinking, I'm thinking, well! Ha! Once you get past their annoying little habits like singing in the morning, leaving their dirty clothes on the floor and their shoes in the hall there is no worst thing.

The best thing is having your True Best Friend! Marriage should be a partnership... So, the best thing about it would be to enjoy sharing your life with someone you trust completely & who you want to be with!

The best thing, in a perfect world, is having someone to share the burdens and joys of life with. Companionship and friendship.
The worst thing is having to always be worried about what the other person wants, clearing every decision with them, sharing finances and generally not being able to be your own person.

The best thing for me is knowing that no matter how crappy life can get, your not alone.
The worst thing is not getting feedback from your partner. Most people I know who have split up stated it all by not talking anymore or ignoring each others needs.

well, the best thing about marriage is the support and love u get from ur mate. ha !! the worst things are of course "the reduction in independence", "being understanding" and adjustments that are part-and-parcel of every married life.
