when you say " 2 people died and got injured",does it mean 1 died and the other got injured? or,,,2 died and 2 got injured?

If you say" 2 people died and got injured" it would mean that two people were injured and two people died. A better way to say that would be"two people died from their injuries"

It shows that 2 people had been injured before they died its nonsense it should be..

"2 people got injured and died"

It is a badly worded sentence.

It actually implies that 2 people died, and then those same two people got injured

sounds like they mean 2 people died of injuries.

The sentence is not clear this way, and should not be used. You would not say this.

Maybe if it was a larger number, you would say "78 people were killed or injured".

But two - say "one person was killed and one injured".

I say it means they died from severe injuries.

whoever said that is dumb you can't die and then get injured, you're dead, injury doesn't mater anymore
