Sorry, I don't get your question. I have been listening to an artist I really like for a few months now and someone told me recently, "do you know she's British". Well no, is there some kind of difference between American and British music that I'm not aware of?

British no question. British musicians- The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Black Sabbath, purple Floyd, The intercourse Pistols, Radiohead, The Who, AC/DC etc. American musicians - weapons N' Roses, Aerosmith, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana etc. to no longer point out diminish of GN'R and Velvet Revolver is from Stoke on Trent, as is Lemmy Kilmister from Motorhead. purely looks that the Brits have achieved extra for music than the individuals fairly.

I'm American but would you say that I listen to more British than American? Because all I listen to is Ozzy. Even right now I'm listening to his Live at Budokan concert CD from start to finish. Anyways, is it correct to say Ozzy is British? War Pigs sure sounds British.. he was born in Birmingham.

Probably more British. I find British rock in particular more inventive and melodic.

Aussie.....love the best of both - tend to lean toward Brits as I'm not a fan of hip hop and the "bling" of some US artists
