hmm i can swim... i think i started going to swimming pool when i was 6 years old so that's where i learnt it...
The more funny story is how my cousin learnt to swim (she was with me and my bro then): we were in a lake and my bro and cousin jumped in from a (i dunno rly how its called in english) i'd say footbridge or smthg.. but in that place where they jumped in they couldn't reach the bottom while breathing so they started climbing on one each other then some man took my brother out but didnt notice my cousin(which at that time was under my bro) so the only chance left for her was to swim ^^ fun way to learn swimming, eh?;)

Yes, I can swim. My mom started both my brother and I at the YMCA when we were babies. We then progressed through swimming classes up until I was about 8 or 9, and my brother was about 12. I'm not afraid of water, as long as it's at a manageable depth. I'm more afraid of what's in the water!

I took swim lessons when I was 9 I am afraid of the water and can only swim in shallow water very close to a wall

I can swim. I'm not the best though.

My mom tried to take me to lessons when I was 2 1/2 I think..but I hated that..so she waited until I was about 10 and my friend and I took lessons together.

yes i can. I took swimming lessons but i've stop after i learned to float and flatter my feet. I think i'm 7. No i'm not afraid of it

I taught myself starting with the doggy paddle and I was probably about 7 or 8. I love the water.

I can swim and I learned by my dad throwing me into my pool and saying you better move your arms and legs or your going to drown.
