can you tell me that getting married in 17 -18 is wrong or right?one of my freinds is 16 and she will marry ;do you think she is making a wrong decision?why or why not?

16 is way too young....she hasn't fully matured as of yet. Unless she is a remarkable girl who undestand the complexity of the commiment she is about to make...I would say wait a few more years....at least 3 or 4.
How old is the boy she's going to marry? If he is only 16 - 17 then it is too young for the both of them.

Life and your likes and dislikes and a lot of things about you change too much when you get to be about 19-23 that you really wouldn't want to make a life decision like that so soon because you really don't know what life is about and who you are until you get older. I know it seems like you do at 16 but you don't.

yeah , that is wrong , 16 is a very young age , she doesn`t know what she`s doing or wants yet ,she not even fully matured yet . how old is the guy ?
i bet she`s an Arab , right ?
cuz i have a friend who`s 16 also and almost did the same thing ..but i stopped her of course..

I've know a few couples who got married at 17-18 and they are all divorced now, so yes.

i know some decided to marry in 30 and it was a wrong decision

It's a big step and @ that age, you don't know what life is all about! I think people need to live a little, have some fun, spend time discovering who they are and what they really want out of life. Trust me, the older you get, the more you and your values change!

unfortunately yes , because she may not have the will (or love ) to stay commited to the guy for the rest of her life (unless she is planning a divorce too , which i certainly hope she`s not !) and the same goes for the guy .

It worked for us and that was 34 years ago. And its still the greatest. But I must say it takes commitment and a lot of work every day. we'll never give up.

i think she should wait until she gets a little older. i waited until i was 28 and i am glad. it gave me time to be single, be a person (not a couple) explore what i like, what i dislike and to know for sure that this was the love of my life.

If it's legal for her to marry, it's her decision to make. She will have to live with the outcome.
