He was try for crimes against humanity.


It would be like at the end of WWII all those of the Numberg trails were assasinations.

You are just miss using the words to score political points.

There is nothing political about gassing people, throwing people into wood chippers alive, or spending money on himself while his people straved.

Saddam was an evil man and I hope you haven't clouded your mind with I hate Bush too much to see that.

Saddam Hussein was a monster, look up how many people have died because of him (kill tally)on the net. He was tried and convicted by his own people.

he was tried found guilty and executed by the sovereign state of Iraq, for the crime of murder. Not for being a tyrant. Not by the USA, not for crimes against humanity by an international tribunal.
