I just purchased a 2003 RSX last month and I can't seem to find the right seat adjustments for me. I've tried almost every adjustment combination possible, yet my lower back is in constant pain. Is there something else I can try?

You should see your doctor, but you could also try a support cushion they have them at wal-mart. lol

I've had the same problem with just about any car I've driven. They all end up placing your hips lower than your knees when your seated, especially if your tall like me. I finally found a solution that works for any car I drive, and it's a simple inexpensive one. You simply sit on a thick 20 inch square foam cushion that raises your rump up. The foam has to be firm like the "Temporpedic" type foam cushion pillows. Also adjust the seat to raise your hips up higher relative to your knees. Try it and see if it helps. You could buy a small Temporpedic foam pillow or cushion designed to pad the seat (not the back of the seat) of an automobile. I have a wedge shaped one that may be even better because the thickest part of it can be positioned towards the seat back. Basically, the typical car seat bottom doesn't have enough support built into it. You end up sitting on the floor board!

Some problems are man-made and some crop up by the force of the circumstances. The solutions too have a degree of fallibility, those that seem to be solutions actually breed other problems. Some get solved through time as it is a healer. Some solutions may be available, but it is better to get them solved naturally. But it does not mean problems should be left off to be solved automatically or by keeping our eyes away from them.

You need lower lumbar support. I'm fairly certain they make molded foam cushions for this, but in the meantime you can use a rolled up towel placed in the small of your back to help alleviate the problem.

Additionally, If you're a guy get in the habit of removing your wallet when you get into the car. Sitting on your wallet for long periods, with one cheek higher than the other, can cause spinal injuries and back pain.

Those seats are pretty darn good, so you may have a back problem. I would see your doctor, but you could also try a lumbar support cushion that you can buy in some auto accessories stores.

Custom interior shop -

Have them install a lumbar system.

This will give you better support in your lower back and under your legs.

Not real expensive, the manual pump version is cheapest.
