If you mean romance, like there usually is a in a Final Fantasy game, then no.

Are you talking about Final Fantasy 12? I don't think they have anything going on, and they're not related, but then I'm only about half way through.

Well, Van used to train Asch and then Asch got 'kidnapped' so luke came and took over and 'stole' all that Asch ever had and so thats pretty much it. You are talking about 'Tales of the Abyss,' right?
