It went something like: If it isn't something, it's something else. Just goes to show... It's always something.

I'm missing something, though. Maybe it IS the tone of voice.

Yes, I think so, auntb93. I only watched occasionally, but one time she did a bit that I think started her "It's always something" trademark response to life. It's that piece that I am looking for. Do you know the whole piece? Thank you.

It varied from week to week depending on what rant Roseanne Roseannadanna went off on. The words that were always constant were "well Jane it just goes to show you, it's always something...if it isn't one thing it's another thing". LOVED that skit! Gilda Radner made me laugh harder than any comedian to date! Brilliant woman! Sad that she was taken away from us too soon.

like cookie said, it was different from week to week, she did many Rosanne Roseannadanna skits.. there is a CD of Gilda Radners 1 woman show called Gilda Live, and there is a skit of that.. that way you can at least hear it or see it of you buy the DVD

You mean "If it isn't one thing, it's another" by Rosanne Rosannadanna? It needs the tone of voice to do it right.
