Its going to be built by Universal FL. They are going to dedicate 23 acres to it. It will have hogwarts, hogsmead, the forbidden forrest, and more. It will have shops and restaurants too. I heard this in the US Weekly Magazine.
Does anyone know if there is an announced open date yet?(I know it will be packed but I'd still like to know when they plan to have it open.)

Yes, actually they have determined that it will be open from late 2009 or early 2010. I'm so excited! I'm a HUGE FAN! I was kind of hoping they would put it in Disney, since I'm a big Disney fan also, but Universal Studios is still fun, too.

This is actually going to be a theme park inside a theme park. It will be located within Islands of Adventure where part of the lost continent is located now and some undeveloped land behind that area.It will open late 2009 or early 2010.

I heard about it on the radio last week. Could be interesting, but Universal theme parks have a tendency to have a few really awesome attractions and the rest of the park is mediocre at best.
But I'm sure alot of people will disagree with that and have the same thing to say about Disney theme parks, whereas, I think Disney them parks are heaven on earth. =)

The actual opening date has not been set, but Universal and Warner are saying that it should be open in late 2009.
