happiness and self contentment is the answer, i still don't know about the question. if you can go through life giving pleasure and happiness but also recieving pleasure and happiness then surely all questions are answered (i think) take care and good luck.

I'd say people lie because they are cowards. They don't want to tell the truth for fear they will have to defend themselves. So, they dream up what they believe you want to hear and fabricate a lie.
