What are you afraid of? Sounds like he has in a way scared you also even though you are not family. How long was the span of time that this FT was read by the four? I would do it because a friend who really looks up to you to help him and I would myself have to know what was so scary. If you really don't want to do it yourself, then just say no and mean it. Maybe you could refer him to another friend who would do it for him. You have the choice in this matter to say Yes or No.
If someone doest help him out, it sounds like he could die from a heart attack or a stroke because he worried himself to death about all of this. Who knows it may not be that bad.
The only one who gets you out of this is You.
Good Luck with this one.

I doubt that it is a curse.
Most people have an over ambitious idea of their ancestry. So the people who did the research probably found that they had a nasty ancestor or two and died of embarrassment. One could only speculate who they found.....
My great aunt was never the same after she discovered that her parents had not been married when they had her. That stopped her work into the FT.
You are not the only one who can do the research - tell him you don't have the time and ask him to hire a professional to do the research.

There are peole who do this for a living. Tell him to have someone else look into it. I am just wondering - if they give him the report in writing and he reads it - will be the same as if he would have looked it up himself. If thats the case - he should ask for an oral report instead of written - he should do all this before his 40th bday or wait until he is 41 maybe that would break the curse.

I do not think there is a curse as such here,i think the findings may of been about family breeding..if there is anything which comes as a suprise then parents must be asked questions..ask family members..some people can shut down and not want to talk about things..there are often closets in the cubard about familys..marridge out of wedlock,or affairs with couisns etc,etc..all sorts of things. It is upto your partner to take on board what it is there is to hide, confront it and then get it out fo his mind and except the past..we cannot change that..but we can change how we deal with and keep the onest and respect for the next generation..uncovering family things can be embarrassing..but it is good to air them.

you might be the only one to help him. This says that only his
'family members' saw only. so maybe you can look into that tree without getting ill. take a chance.

Maybe you should help him, maybe it's fate, but of course it's your choice we're meant to be living in a world where we are free to make our own descissons.
If I were u I'd do it. I'd be too curious. I wouldn't worry about it too much as your not part of his family,, if there is a curse that is.
It's your choice, just think, if you said no, would you regret it later?

hi. to answer your question, i would like to ask one in return. are you a christian? if u are, then let me remind you that the Bible says ... you are not given the spirit of fear or timidity ... and also that ... greater is he that is in you ..., so go ahead and look. no curse can harm u (if it is a curse) unless u believe it is a curse to u (kinda confusing!!)
if u are not a christian, then i would say that you should proceed with caution. i suspect that whatever you will find has the power to shock you as it did the others. but be courageous. at least it is not YOUR family tree. help your friend out. he just might return the favour in the future :-)

Interesting, I would love to know more, but if you want no part of this then don't, you should not what ever your beliefs are tackle anything of this nature, the fact it worries you is enough to start start something. You should tell him to hire someone who knows about Family trees, but don't do it yourself

Ask your friend to utter his favored prayer for Protection, Guidance, and Healing and meditate or day dream on the subject of this family tree
1. is it safe for him to look into it--if O.K. he proceeds; if not O.K. he meditates again on the best person(s) to check his genealogy for him--you, another friend or family member, or a professional. I'm sure the best solution will come to your friend and it will protect him, you and your friendship. Good luck!

why doesnt he have a professional look into it?
as for the "curse" if he's so worried, why doesnt he find someone to dispel the negative energies? Someone that specializes in Psychometry perhaps a medium (a large number of mediums are fake - be sure to find a reputable one) they should be well versed in how to dispel negative energies - that is "curses" etc.
