I don't know about funny, but one of the strangest things he keeps saying is "after the first few days"???? He has used it in every interview that I have seen.Either way they are either the two strongest people I have ever seen or the most cold calculating people I have ever seen. I cannot see any evidence of crying, red eyes ,swelling, even a quiver of the lips would be something. The only time I have seen them anywhere near emotional was when they met the Pope. I know people react in different ways to tragedy but I would be in pieces. The last thing I would want to do would be to parade in front of cameras and I certainly would not leave my remaining children to go swanning off to Rome. The German reporter was right to ask the questions if only for the police profilers to check their reactions. In my heart of hearts I hope Maddy is safe and well and comes back but as each day goes by I am more and more doubtful.

Yes if you ask me, from day 1 this case has seemed strange, no emotion shown from the parents, jetting off around the world in a private jet, it's become a circus, did i mention the lack of tears?? If it was my daughter i would'nt be acting as these two parents act, no way, i'd be devastated, not parading myself for the worlds press everyday, leaving my other kids in the care of relatives, the whole thing sucks..how many times have we seen 'innocent' people proved guilty of a crime, i'm just saying, don't be a sheep and believe everything you see..its either a money making scam and Madeline is safe or something a lot more sinister...and well done to the German press for putting questions forward.

I think you are one heartless ghoul who has no heart think about what the parents are going obviously you've never had children or even lost a close loved one to know what anguish and upset that can cause in a family. I know because my sister died two years ago and every day I miss her and think about sometimes I want to call her and then I realise I can't because she no longer here. STOP with this heartless question you sick person.
EDIT: Yes Chris B I have just read your response please tell us why he was kicked off another forum? This is a sicko and yahoo should ban him from here aswell.

Although I'm rather cynical about this whole story, I simply don't believe that Gerry would make such a statement. He is too cold and calculating.

If you can provide a link, do so. If not, you will lose credibility.

Forget the question.... you are a very sad individual.

Chris B - please elaborate as this is K *** is constantly posting callous remarks both about this case and people in general. Why was he kicked off another forum?

I remember you from another forum and some of your beliefs and comments relating to children and remember you being kicked off. Shall I tell the audience why?

I am terribly sorry, have you not heard of the word "LIABLE" or "SLANDER". Be careful you are getting in deep, deep water here.
You really need to think before you post things like this.
Reported! Sorry, not.

I suspect that he was trying to say that they need to be strong for their other two children.

Be very careful when judging people. Would you always talk absolute sense if you were under the constant glare of the media and suffered such a devastating loss? I suspect not.

I thought that the funniest statement was the parents saying they were responsible parents, and did not feel they had done anything wrong, even though they had left their kids "home alone" in a foreign country, with no idea how secure that hotel room might actually be (or not). And they still feel that they were acting responsibly by checking in on them every 1/2 hour, like that was good enough.

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to sympathise with irresponsible parents like this, when there are many more parents losing their children through no fault whatsoever.
