Half of the American electorate did not vote for Bush, and he did NOT win the popular vote in the first election and there are questions about the legitimacy of the second election. Please realize that there is a HUGE difference between the American GOVERNMENT and the American PEOPLE. And the answer is no - the USA does a lot of good for the world too.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. The USA has been a benefactor to so many nations. Whenever there is a disaster, the entire world looks to them to lead in the giving of aid, especially financial aid. When the nazis were overrunning Europe, it was the Americans who came to their aid and turned the direction of the war around. Today, they are still rescuing the oppressed in different parts of the world. If all the people of the world were given a choice of living anywhere they wish, guess where the majority would go?

NO, the PEOPLE of the U.S.A. are generally good people but they just elect bad politicians that choose bad policies. Not that it is entirely the Americans fault they are faced with a 2 headed snake political system. America is by far the leaders in propaganda allowing them to control their citizens without the citizens even knowing so.... In all no if the American citizens could free themselves from their current political parties.

Hmm...without the US, Europe would be in 3rd world state that they could never get out of, many of the inventions we have (electricity, even the motor vehicle or TV) may never have come into existance, Mexico would probably cover the entire North American continent....sound like a better world?

particular the french helped the U. S. out interior the progressive conflict, yet we helped each physique out in wwi and wwii, with out the individuals assisting, the two wars could have ended plenty in any different case. i'm not announcing that there isn't something incorrect with the yankee foreign places coverage, yet how are you able to fault us for attempting to make the international a extra efficient place and succeeding frequently?

It depends on who you are asking. If You are asking the leaders of Iran or North Korea they would say yes because it would be better for them personaly. There are so many despits that would start wars and take over free nations in a second If they did not have the US breathing down their necks. Think Israel and Tiwan.

Wouldnt be better, wouldnt be worse, it would just be different.
If america didnt exist, there would just be a different super power, who everyone would then be saying "would the world be better without this particular nation?"
It's a necessary evil if you like....
(not syaing america is evil though im sure alot of you think it is... i'm just saying a superpower like USA - be it any country - is a necessary evil)

Your asking us if the world be better without the USA, yet millions of people of from other countries would do anything to live here. That includes leave their family and risk their lives.....That tells me the world would not be better without the USA. How many would risk everything to live in Canada or China, Cuba, UK, Mexico, Africa, and so forth...
