i know one called hunt dawn i think it is with christian bale but i cant seem to find it in the uk?, was it ever released here?.
The other film i want to name is a time travel fim, its like groundhog day.
i can only name a few things that might hint as to what film it is but its not very clear in my mind.
ok, the person who keeps waking up the same day i think? is a man, i think he or hes wife is dying so thats why he goes back so he can spend more time with her i think? he works in an office i think or maybe hes wife? theres a scene where one of them is buying flowers and a car knocks her over and kills her for some reason?, i think this happens a few times where the man has failed to save her?. i think theres a scene with the 2 of them in a cabin up in the woods?.
theres no well known actors in it i dont think?
the machine that makes the time travel possible is like how can i put it, looks like a big lathe machine but with some sort of long cystal powering it?

SORRY!, its called RESCUE DAWN
and the time travel fim is not the time machine or time cop. its better than time cop and time machine was quite good but not that 1. this one was more of a low budget film, maybe for tv?

For your first movie question, I could not find anything Christian Bale did called Hunt Dawn or even a movie titled Hunt Dawn.
If you could think of some more details, I may be able to search something for you.
The second part of your question, I am thinking Time Cop but it has been so long since I saw it I am not very sure. I know in Time Cop, Jean Claude Van Dam is the "hero" who goes back in time to try and prevent his wife's murder.
EDIT---There have been numerous movies about H.G. Wells' The Time Machine. One of those could be what you saw. You should check www.imdb.com and search all the titles similar to Time Machine and see if any actor's photos are familiar.

The second tv film you are thinking about, I think is called 7.10 or something similar. Its the time he wakes up every day. The girl in it is Helen Slater (Supergirl) and I think she knows that her employers, who are working on a secret project, are up to no good and she's going to spill the beans to the authorities so they decide to kill her.She's a scientist.
The man who keeps trying to save her also works there and has fallen for her and due to an accident concerning the time machine is caught in a time loop and has to workout how to save her. After several failures, he does so and they manage to defeat the bad guys.
I cant remember who played the hero, but i'm sure its someone fairly well known, I just cant remember at present.. Hope this is of help.
Just looked it up, and its actually called 12.01. You can buy it at Amazon.co.uk for £3.47, but only on region 1 dvd.

Maybe it is the movie "The Time Machine"

That movie fits the wife dying thing, especially the buying flowers/hit by car scene.
No office job though, and it does not always follow the theme "go back, spend time with wife" idea.
It moves onto the future, so i might be completely wrong.
