Nope, once a website is completed and the client is happy and I'm paid - I don't care what they do with it afterwards. It belongs to them - they have the right to do whatever it is they want with it. But...if they screw something up and want it fixed, it'll cost them for me or any other designer to fix it.

Yes and no, Yes as in that they should at least point out to you what they didnt like about it, so you know , its a communication thing.
Also this could meant they wanted you to create the theme or core, which is the most difficult part of creating a website, then they would try to save money by adding/changing the rest themself.
No, as in as they had to do this, this could meant that you didnt listen to their request in full, so that some parts are are done to their specs.

no not at all, i have been running a web design business for 4 years now, and i think its important to keep in contact with your clients, and ask if they want anything updated.
But tech these days alow you to update your site your self without any programming knoledge what so ever.

to a great extend itssss yes... its because when I'm doing such a site i'' give my maximum to make it perfect and beautiful.... and later if my client wants it to be changed means... its not perfect or good to somebody.... it hurts sometimes.... a lot....

i do pc repairs
when ppl screw up there pcs after i fix them it doesnt bother me a bit
i just get paid to fix it again
