Hot lemon drink!
Cut a lemon into quarters and cover with water (in a saucepan). Add some chopped garlic, ginger, chilli, cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer covered for about 10-15 minutes. Add honey (preferably unpasteurised), and strain into a thermos flask. Take the thermos and a mug (the cup type) to bed with you, and sip the lemon drink throughout the day.
Hope you feel better soon.

Nobody,
For a sore throat , you can take a teaspoon of Honey , that will coat your throat and it will stop from hurting , also gargle "Cloreseptic " (hope i spelled it right ) even with spell check it doesnt always work.
And years ago we used to use very little sweet oil (make it a little warm ) and we'd put it in the ear , and it would stop it from hurting ,an old remedy . Unless you have a real serious problem see your DR.

Using poultices when you have a cold is a good way to make yourself rest.Make a chest rub by adding 3 or 4 drops of herbal oil(try eucalyptus, lavender, or thyme) to 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Aplly it liberally to your chest, and setlle into a comfy chair with a cozy afghan and a good book:D
hope you'll feel better soon.

Probably a virus, but see a doctor to make sure it isn't a bacterial infection.
The tea and stuff is pretty good to ease the symptoms.
A bacterial infection in the ear could be a problem, so don't ignore it.

Potato soup along with hot lemonade (real lemons. . . peelings and all) with honey. If it does not cure you it will make you really sleepy and you will wake up feeling much better.
