It's called a fly (don't ask). It's to let your pecker out to pee. I never use them.

For small equip? Most guys I know that wear boxers just pull down the elastic and let fly over the top, unbuttoning the fly is a pain. Same way with briefs. Never knew any guy who could thread his penis through that ridiculous fly thingy to pee.

The small opening is for men, so when they urinate, they don't have to pull there pants down, just pull there thing out.

so that when you need to pee in an emergency situation you dont have to take off your pants or boxer.simply slide out the big man and deal with business!
