It sounds like a pretty decent computer, but it depends on what you want to do with it. I see that the price at Walmart is $448, so that makes it even better (wink). If you have a choice, get a Dual Core processor computer with more RAM.

Wel the PC is just Good , and i am a intel pentium Fan ,
But as far as the hardware you mention it is prety fine although i will recomment a bigger ram memory and a Bigger Graphics Card since u are using vista and u also may be play games so get RAM and VGA ,

Hard Disk is Old fashioned as well there are new ones in the markeet called SATA They are pretty fast and smaller in size as well.there is RPM rate is aslo nice. and use Xp proessional that will help alot

My advice is to go for a Intel dual core.
Compaq PCs are not very good in performance, specially when they are with AMD.

that computer is good, standard nowadays if u are a man that wants to get budget pc take it but if u consider performance get a computer with graphic of nvidia 7900 or ati 1900

STAY AWAY FROM VISTA!!!!! full of bugs and slow as all get out. other than that...fine.
