To start with just think about what happens to a face when someone is angry.....it gets creased and mean looking with scowls and frowns. A happy person wears a smile, their eyes are bright and a smile on their face. That's one reason happiness is more desirable than anger. Also, anger leads to arguements which are very stressful. People say and do things out of anger when normally they wouldn't say or do these things. People are ugly when they're angry and shine when they are happy. Happy people are much better to be around!

The simple answer would be that happiness is a positive emotion and anger is a negative one, but it goes well beyond just that!
Because it is rarely really fully justified, anger is usually a very childish, immature, self-centered emotion, and so it outwardly portrays its host to the rest of the world as a childish, immature and self-centered person.
It hurts everyone who comes into contact with it and motivates the greatest percentage of man's inhumanity to man.
Obviously, it hurts others, but it hurts its host, too. An angry person is an unhealthy person. It creates negative endorphins in the brain, high blood pressure and other stress-related problems in the rest of the body.
And it is socially destructive as well as physically.
It drives people away. It motivates its host to alienate him/herself from others, thereby destroying the potential for promising relationships and other forms of pleasant human interactions with others.
My own mother used to brag about her temper as if it were something to be proud of. Even as a small child, I could see the distortion in that. It seemed to me, even then, that the proclivity to cause so much pain and misery for others was something a person SHOULD be ASHAMED, NOT PROUD, of! The stress caused within our family dynamic by her thoughtless and selfish displays of temper caused my father to suffer a cerebral hemmorhage when he was only 37 years old, that crippled him for the rest of his life!
Across the board, throughout humanity, anger does thousands of times more harm than good.
Happiness is just the opposite. Almost everywhere anger does harm, happiness does good. Where anger repels people, happiness attracts them. Happiness is contageous and that is a wonderful thing. It creates positive endorphins which help to keep us healthy under normal circumstances and help us heal when we get sick or hurt.
It attracts positive relationships and then holds them together. It raises strong, well-adjusted children. It engenders kindness and generosity towards others and keeps life worth living.
If you didn't already KNOW all of this - if anything I have just written is new you - if there is ANY of it (aside from the anecdote about my own tragic family history) that you did not already know, then, most likely, none of it will help you very much (if at all) but I'll offer it up anyway.

If you love anger high five dude. i have such a short temper. and my aderinline rushes maybe thats why you like to be anger. you probably also like to debate alot of things and same here. i just wish alot mor epople could handle anger like you maybe this world wouldnt be as messed up as it is now!

hi it might feel good to vent your own anger but there is nothing worse than being around someone who is angry when you are not.
