Whenever I was in Port Blair, it was almost always raining! Sad to note there is water problem in such a lovely place! (there was only fresh milk problem those days: cows had some disease, endemic!) I even think of A&N as a possible place for finally settling down! The solution for water problem maybe desalination plants on small scales for residential colonies (Army&CoastGuard could take the initiative!), and of course, rain water harvesting! (your blog is excellent, very useful, socially, for many people and the society around: hope the right people take note!) good luck!
