A 1964 Chrysler Station Wagon that I bought for $75 in 1974. The Car ran perfect, but got about 12 MPG on a good Day. This was in 1974, when Gas went from 25 Cents to 75 Cents per Gallon, and everyone Panicked !

A dark green 1976 Vauxhall Victor FE.
Built like a brick shi*t house.Would flatten every Volvo on the road, lol.
I reversed it once into one of those concrete posts inbetween fences. The post and fence both collapsed.I drove round the corner to check the car,and all it had was a bit of dust on the bumper, lmao.
Had to get rid of it when all the electrics started going. If I used the indicators the horn used to go off.The wipers stopped working, etc.
Couldn't find anyone that could fix it,so gave it to the Vauxhall museum,:o(

An old A reg metallic blue metro when i was 17, did the job but found it handled badly down country lanes with black ice at 2a.m, ended up hugging a couple of trees staring the way i just came! my dad came to the rescue and towed it to his work and attached one end to a something heavy and with a forklift truck he pulled it back into shape, i drove it for prob another year after that, that was 13 years ago, dont think you can get away with that sort of thing anymore! now i am quite happy in my silver pug 406, although when i go down that lane these days in winter i am a lot more careful!

An old soft top Ford van with an antique side valve engine. It was converted with windows in the rear It had bench seats either side with a table of sorts in the middle. It had curtains .The two front seats had been removed and a single bench seat installed, so that 3 could use it.There were no MOT's in those days and no seat belts. This would have been about 1955. I sold it to a shop owner to use for his deliveries for £30 I think.

Mine was a 1953 Plymoth. I got it in 1965 and It was a faded red in color. The thing ran up until 1967 then, since I lived on a farm, I just towed it out to our trash dump on our property and left it. The farm is still in the family and a few months ago I was out there and saw it. After forty years the faded red paint started coming off and what a surprise, the car's original color was blue.

mine was a brown (yuck) vauxhall Nova . and i still remember the reg. number (B405 HCU) !!! my parents bought it for me when i was learning to drive, so it was already old when they bought it, and it wasn't exactly glamorous, but it was my first car, and i once i passed my test, i used to go all over the country in it. i've since had about 4 or 5 other cars, but that's the only one that i still remember the reg for ! (i ended up selling it because too many things started to go wrong with it. )
