just like everywhere else, you can meet good and bad people in Y!A because some the users actually place options in their profile like you can e-mail or IM them or even view their 360 profile...
you just ahve to spend some time around to "see" who are the regular good people here and the regular bad people here!
in time you will know that there are plenty of "trolls" slithering around harrasing people online with very bad racist questions!

It's just different than others. Polls and Surveys is really good for getting to know the regulars. Maybe other categories have something similar, but I doubt it.

I dont like myspace, this is the best site, although not for meeting new people as its not a chat site.

Yes because they have more users and more foot traffic.... thats part of the reason why it can be slow because of all the business that yahoo produces...
I have met a lot of great people on here.....

No, I don't...I think we only see a part of each other on YA, but my space and other sites let you see the "whole person".
