Even thought I broke up with her, and I have a new girlfriend, why is it still hurt?

awwww sad to hear ; (....it still hurts because it wasn't all bad when you were with her, you had good times but i guess it wasn't working out...you miss the comfort of having her, even though you have moved on not having her is bringing you down because she was a part of your life. getting over it takes time, good luck and try to be optimistic about the new changes in your life ; )

It hurts because a new girlfriend is NOT a substitute for the one that got away.
It hurts because your true feelings will NOT be denied inspite of the temporary pleasures with the new girl.
It hurts because the break-up was probably premature and entering into a new relationship is NOT an effective palliative measure.
BUT if reconciliation is totally out of the picture, don't be sad that it's really over...instead, smile that it happened - at least, you had your moments with her.

There is a frightening hadith of Prophet(pbuh) I do not know the unique phrases however the hadith is that If a Muslim see an oppression and comes to a decision to not do some thing approximately it, does not condemn the acts of the oppressor through his middle or through his speech have the bottom degree of Emaan.
