Probably yes and then again this is always on outlet for people to express certain feelings going on inside them...
There are people that do abuse the right to be here. I see it day and day out.

That's hard to say. With some people, it is easy to be rude and obnoxious because they can do so anonymously. Others think it's fun and funny to bash other people for what they perceive are "stupid" questions.
Then again, there are some people who truly ARE rude and obnoxious, and show it in their responses.

Absolutely! I keep scanning the rules and regulations trying to figure out if I can report them for sheer stupidity. Some people are just nasty, rude and generally unhelpfull! It is easier to be a jerk online than in real life, there are very few if any reprocussions. It makes the rest of us that truly do try to help others feel disgusted and dismayed.
Good luck with this question, I hesitate to ask them!

hmm, that's interesting.
i think it's more that they're insecure, and feel that the computer screen is a safe shield, so they can say whatever they want.
in fact scientist have done studies about this. it's why online-bullying is so common.
quite sad, i think.
