I did face to face this week.....we have been together for almost 8 yrs.....but you come to the realization that there is something more out there for you....that this person is not fulfilling....and you have to be honest with them and yourself...in order to move on....& it is not easy......

I've done it by text, phone, face to face, I don't waste time on those type of letters or I just stop answering their phone calls until they get the hint.

Always face to face, to make my point of view very clear.
I believe letters, texts and phones, leave room for misunderstandings.

like face to face. If you shirk it you will always suffer from a complex that you cannot face a situation if the need arises and lose selfconfidence.

i think the best thing to do is invite him/her to dinner or something just get him/her to come and talk and tell them why you are doing what your doing. Its hard but dont make it harder by texting...its best in person. Good luck
