Fill your bathtub up with water...all the way to the top. Then throw in some rubber duckies and pretend that they are people...then push the big blue ball into the water until it touches the bottom. there you go...over population.... sorry....it seemed better in my mind....

Get a flat piece of cardboard, enough to cover a 36x36 area. Glue the ball on the cardboard. Lightly draw on all the continents with a dry erase marker. Paint the land areas green, desert areas brown and river ways blue. Find some tiny multicolored circles the size of a pencil eraser or smaller or some small beads and glue them in heavily populated areas. Use whipped cream to melt the Arctic ice cap. Let chocolate syrup run down over the continents as polluted water. Get some goldfish crackers and paint them black, use the glue stick to hastily glue clumps of them in the oceans. Use a glue stick to hastily glue areas of deforestation. Then pour brown sand over them.

simple just use a pin and say "this pin simbolizes the overpopulation of the world" then burst the big blue ball.
(im not joking i would do it if i'm going to report it)
and i think that will happen if overpopulation really occurs

Draw stick figures of people on Post-It notes and start sticking them all over the ball one at a time. Then draw the picture of a nuclear warhead, and place it on any part of the ball. Then remove a bunch of sticky-note pictures of people around the bomb.
Now, start placing Post-It note stick-figures that have 2 heads & 3 legs in the area around where the bomb once was. Perhaps you could really demonstrate the ill effects of radiation & put little pictures of Ricky Martin on the Post-It notes around where the bomb was.

draw continents on it and colour in the overpopulated area... just be careful - i did a mars project with a big red ball and someone stole it and started throwing it around.. it was a really good project too and they pulled it apart... *shakes fist*
