My favorite is "The Wasps" by Aristophanes. It's about a retired man who LOVES serving on jury duty. It becomes an obsession and his son locks him in the house to keep him home but he climbs out on the roof to escape. Finally the son agrees to let him carry out trials at home and the man puts the family dog on trial for stealing food. When it comes to the time to vote for innocence or guilt, the man, for the first time in his life, (he always voted everyone guilty) accidentally drops the tile for innocence into the box. So the dog gets off.
