Might be yeast infection. Sometimes if you wash the area too much you already wipe out the natural flora or bacteria that lives there. Go to your doctor to get it check out. Do you have cheese like discharge? If you do it is a high probability its yeast infection. You can buy an OTC medication for that. Goodluck!

Are you sure you don't have an infection? Your vagina does have a natural smell of its own. If the smell ever changes, see your doctor.

I don't recommend you go spraying things down there as it's a very sensitive area that can be easily irritated in some women. I use some baby powder after I get out of the shower and during the day if I don't feel clean enough. It absorbs moisture and has a nice smell, and is unlikely to cause irritation.

You have a yeast infection of some kind and there are many. Maybe you get from swallowing the wrong things, or get from someone else who has it and now you are ready to give it away.
Don't do that. See your Gynaecologist Also take Acidophilus caps. with the Drs. treatment. Don't wait. I had it for 30 years and 20 of it in my bladder,so I couldn't hold my water. Got strong antibiotics and took my Acidophilus also and every few days even though I am healed. Keep that good bacteria higher than the bad ones always.

The smell that you notice could be a couple of different things. If it's a fishy smell, and you also have yellow/greenish discharge and itching, it could be bacterial vaginosis. But even normal healthy vaginas have their own scent, a bit like yogurt. It's pretty easy to upset the balance of the vagina, so you don't want to use harsh soap or anything like that, and using scented products can cause problems like yeast infections. Bottom line is that if you're worried about it, or if you have itching or irritation, you should see your doctor. Good luck.

It sounds like your may have an infection, if you have any discharge you should go see your OB. If your sure you don't have an infection then maybe the PH is off in your vagina (this can be caused by harsh soap, sweating, sex, your period, etc) try using something like RepHresh it's available in the feminine care aisle at most stores. It's not a Douche - don't try using that because it might make it worse!

I'm pretty clean too, but clean can't do anything unless you get some fresh air circulating around your house.

Crack open a few windows and open some doors to get a cross breeze... away goes the smell (hopefully)

hope this helps ;-)

There is a natural "odor" in the genital area. Perhaps, in your over-zealous attempt to eliminate this smell, you have washed away the natural bacteria and exacerbated the problem. My advice? Shower daily and forget about it! Visit your gynecologist just to make sure there are no underlying problems.

Go to the Dr. You have an infection and once it is cured, you will be just fine.
