My favourite 'Fairy Tale' was the one about how I would grow up in a democratic world where everyone would care about and love each other as Jesus commanded. Where there would be no wars or rumours of wars. Where children could walk out and play on the streets without being molested or kidnapped. Where no-one committed crime and food and water was readily available to all. Best Fairy tale ever written.
Best wishes, Mike.

The glass man. For those who don't know it is about a glass man who revels in his unique abilities and superiority until he falls down the stairs and shatters. Not really a suitable fairy tale for American society which embraces the sin of pride, but I think all the more essential.

Jack and the beanstalk! This fairy tale, no matter how many different ways it was told to me, this favourite of mine always held me spellbound. It had everything in a child,s imagination.

Heckedy Peg
The Brothers Grimm's version of Cinderella
The Frog Prince
I hate Snow White most of all..........I think her friends, the dwarves, should have been able to save her instead of stupid Prince Charming. Prince Charming is a loser pretty boy who is full of himself. Yes, I am very serious about my fairy tales.

My uncle had the old school Grimm Fairy Tales, where everything ends in tragedy. I liked them all.

Well you could say I had several but my favorite was always snow white and the seven dwarfs with red riding hood coming in second. Sometime I felt like cinderella because I always had to do house work and the younger brothers didn't I guess was because I was the only girl. and the youngest.

I always like Rapunzel...a little different from the others...but I always had long hair when I was young. Other than that I'd say my favorites were based upon my Disney knowledge of them...Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, etc... I'm so Disneyfied.
