Nope, not at all. He is capable of hitting 30 hrs in one half of a season. The average is already on its way up and the rbi's will take care of themselves since he is starting to hit dingers. I would draft him first for second half fantasy baseball league. Too good not to have a great second half.

He is a monster and .300-30-100 would be a down year for him. He has had off months in hitting before, just not at the start of the season, and look at the numbers he has put up. He is a career .330-40-125 average per year and I would look for him to reach these numbers, or better.

No, not at all. You are talking about the best hitter in baseball today.

He's at .292, 12, 33 about 1/3 of the way into the season after a terrible April. He has historically been a better second half hitter---.340 v. .322.

In 2002, he was at .283 through June, but hit .336 the rest of the way to finish at a career-low .314.

Definitely not...Pujols is known for being a slow starter, cept for last year he was just mean all around til he got hurt. This year the slow start just lasted a bit longer, but he already broke out of his hitting funk. The power numbers are just waiting to blow their load all over him. He will be fine, he loves interleague play. Look for him to be at the worst .300-20-50 by the All Star Break...at WORST. He will probably be around .315-23-65

No doubt. He's just entering his prime (we think) and every year he has reached the .300/30/100 marks. The only thing thats holding him back is the poor support hes getting right now (Chris Duncan, Rolen, etc.). Right now hes hitting .299 with 15 homers and 40some RBI's. And we thought he was having a bad season!!! HAHAHAHAHA!

He'll wind up with more than 30 HRs and 100 RBIs, I think the .300 batting average is the only thing in question.
