If you are 70 years old then maybe the Waffle House would be romantic. Somehow I do not see the Waffle House as fine dining...fine if you have small children or fine after a night of drinking..but not high class dining.

Your trying to be funny right? No I doubt she will think your "worldly" by taking her to the Waffle House.

Are you putting down Waffle House??? Seriously, have you ever tried it? It's WAY better than a fancy place, the coffee is good, the people are friendly and the hash browns...don't even get me started on the hash browns..I can smell them now...*sigh*

I can see it, but only as a part of the bigger picture of an extended road trip. Create your own memories is what I say. Perhaps hiding a ring in the whipped cream and strawberries then using the whipped cream and strawberries for other things...

You must be joking. Although I love Waffle House, I do not find it romantic, nor would I consider it fine dining...unless you like smelling like an ashtray when you leave.

But I do like a good waffle and my hashbrowns SCATTERED, SMOTHERED, COVERED!

I would say that Waffle House would be a great place to take your woman if you are Larry the Cable Guy. Five Star Restraunt.
